Nina Jakonen becomes a partner in Korner
Korner's ownership base expands when director Nina Jakonen becomes a shareholder. In her characteristic manner, Nina signed the share purchase agreement on 26 June, not only from her holiday but also from a trip to a Beyoncé concert.
"During Korner two Korner Nina has shown exactly the kind of qualities that make it impossible for us to think of any good reason not to make her a partner," comments Timo Paloste, CEO of Korner.
"Nina is an exemplary leader in many roles. Becoming a shareholder has been our goal since Nina joined us, and it is excellent that things have moved in the right direction," adds Veli-Matti Peltola.
The changes in ownership will not affect Korner's client work or day-to-day operations.
"Korner has become a very important company for me, and I want to give my best for its success. It's wonderful when you like someone very much, share the same values and dreams, and the feeling is mutual," says new partner Nina Jakonen.
"Retaining and keeping key people is one of the most important tasks for companies like ours. In our small industry, it feels especially good when you count as a key person and partner a person with whom you started studying in the industry," says Joel Häkämies, Chairman of the Board.
Nina is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Korner and manages Korner's staff. Before joining Korner, Nina has worked at Manifesto and Vapa Media, among others.
