We know the Finnish media landscape, understand local perspectives and help you navigate in the Finnish public relations environment.

We work with you to build media communication plans and angles that appeal to journalists, and to crystallise story ideas that will get your message seen and heard. We'll spar with you to meet journalists on a case-by-case basis and provide media coaching at every level of your organisation. You will be supported by our expert consultants and each session will be tailored to your needs and objectives.

The person participating in the media training understands how the media works, what "interest business" means and the differences between the various media in Finland. Participants will receive concrete practical tips and exercises on how to act when contacting a journalist and in the interview situation itself. This will help them to cope better with both expected and unexpected media situations.

Package One

Duration: 2-3 hours
(The price of the package is the same regardless of the duration)

Content: a discussion lecture to prepare you for the media.

  • The beginning of the theoretical part discusses why media works the way it does and how to work with journalists. In the final part of the session, concrete practical tips are given on how to act when a journalist contacts you, during and after the interview.

    *The package does not include practice interviews.

Package Two

Duration: 3-5 hours
(The price of the package is the same regardless of the duration)

Content: a theory-based lecture, discussions and personal practice interviews to prepare you for interviews with journalists.

The final price will be determined by the number of participants.

  • After the theoretical part, participants will be given practice interviews to demonstrate different media interview situations or a press conference, depending on their needs. Each trainee will participate in the exercises and will have the opportunity to observe the exercises of others.

    After the exercises, we will analyze together what went well and where there is still room for improvement. Participants will receive written feedback and tips for the future.

Package Three

Duration: 4-6 hours
(The price of the package is the same regardless of the duration)

Content: a discussion lecture to prepare you for the media, a selected additional package and personal practice interviews

  • In addition to the theoretical part and the practice interviews, you can choose one or more additional parts to deepen your knowledge. Each module is tailored to the client's industry and existing communication plans.
